Hike from Maryland thru West Virginia to Virginia and back all on the A.T. This hike starts in Maryland, goes through Harpers Ferry and into the hills to the Virginia state line. There we will take a lunch break then head back. About 6 miles will be flat ground while hiking on the C&O canal. Elevation gain will be about 1400 feet. Pace will be about 3.0 mph on level ground and about 2.0 to 2.5 mph up hills.
