Departing from the I-70 parking lot, off Route 40 (near where the AT crosses I-70), we will head South, past Washington Monument State Park, onto Dahlgren Campground. After lunch at the campground, we will head back. Our hiking pace will be plus/minus 2.25 - 2.5 MPH (slower side uphill). Elevation gain is approximately 1600 feet, including a 250 foot climb before lunch, and a 400 footer after lunch. Please indicate if you are Carpooling or meeting at the Trailhead
