Ongoing publicity of the Mountain Club of Maryland helps ensure the future of the club. It’s a simple formula:
- Publicity attracts new members.
- With more members, the number of hike leaders will increase.
- With more hike leaders, the Club can offer more hikes!
Every member can help with publicity. Word-of-mouth is the best way to publicize the Club. Please tell all your friends who enjoy hiking about the Club. Invite them as a guest on a hike!
Do you patronize businesses that cater to outdoor activities? Do you visit public buildings such as libraries? Do any of these establishments have bulletin boards where visitors can post information of interest to the public? Please check with the management to determine if you can post the Club brochure.
