Do you plan to arrive early at Big Meadows? Join me for an afternoon walk to Bearfence Mountain! This hike will start at the Lewis Mountain Campground Picnic Area. We will take the Appalachian Trail north for 1 mile and hike the Bearfence Mountain Trail loop clockwise, returning to our starting point, for a total of 3 miles and 2-3 hours.
