This out-and-back hike will start at Whites Fery and travel south on the C&O Canal towpath to Edwards Ferry and return. We will have lunch near the lockhouse. The trail is flat and tree-shaded, with views of the Potomac along one half-mile section of the trail. Be aware that because of the easy terrain, we will hike at a brisk pace of 2.8 MPH.
