1/2 Hike Across Maryland (HAM) on the Appalachian Trail (AT) from PenMar to Washington Monument State Park

- The Half HAM is a 21 mile hike from Pen Mar to Washington Monument on the Appalachian Trail. The Half HAM will be held on October 4, 2025. Hikers will meet at Pen Mar between 6:30 and 7:45 AM to sign-in and pick up their bib number. The Hike will start at 8:00 am. Rest rooms at Pen Mar will be opened for your use at 7:00 am. Those walking at a pace of 4 mile/hr. will finish by 1:30 pm. Those walking at a pace of 2 miles/hr. will arrive by 6:00 p.m. Space is limited to first 75 hikers that signup, but we will have a waiting list.
