An out and back along the Appalachian Trail for a total of 11 miles going north from Wolfsville Road (MD-17) to Raven Rock Shelter. Total elevation is about 2,400′ with the longest climb of 600′ over 0.8 miles. There are several rocky areas and one unbridged stream crossing. Our pace while hiking will average 2.5 – 2.8 MPH. Please indicate “Carpool” or “Trailhead” when registering.
