This hike on the Wildlands trail in the Big Gunpowder is midway between easy and moderate.  There are several hills and stream crossings (2 crossings are optional) along with the usual roots and rocks.  Poles and boots are helpful.   As of Saturday, the river trail is very muddy and a bit overgrown in places.   It could dry out but be prepared for some mud.  The first half will be hilly then it is a long but easy descent back to…
