Come and enjoy a moderate hike in Catoctin Mountain Park near Thurmont, MD. This hike will start at the Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor’s Center (warm restrooms available) and loop as follows: Catoctin Mountain Visitor’s Center Trail to Catoctin Headquarters, Chimney Rock, Wolf Rock, Thurmont Vista, Hog’s Rock, Cunningham Falls, and Cunningham Falls Nature Trail back to Visitor’s Center, a total of 8.0 easy miles with some moderate elevation gain on the trail to Chimney Rock.
