This out-and-back hike will use the C&O Canal Towpath to travel from Point of Rocks to the Monocacy Aqueduct in Maryland. The trail is flat with a mixture of sun exposure and shade and plenty of views of the Potomac. We will have lunch Lock 26, then turn around. Because of the easy terrain, we will hike at a brisk pace of 2.8-3.0 MPH.
