This 12-mile loop starting from the Upper Parking Lot in Gambrills State Park and following the Catoctin Trail. After lunch near a pond, we will return via the Power Line and Yellow Poplar Trails. There will be about 1800 feet of ascent, including one 700-foot climb over 1.3 miles. Average pace 2.5 - 3.0.  When registering please indicate "Carpool" or "Trailhead"
