This 12-mile loop hike will start from the Upper Parking Lot in Gambrills State Park and follow the Catoctin Trail north toward Hamburg Road. Then we will return to Gambrills using other trails, including the Power Line and Yellow Poplar Trails. There will be about 1800 feet of ascent, including one 700-foot climb over 1.3 miles. Please indicate whether you plan to carpool or meet at the trailhead.
