Lock 12 hike starts along the SW side of the Susquehanna River just before Rt. 372 crosses the Norman Wood Bridge going N. It starts at a wooded parking lot, runs 5 miles to another wooded lot, then returns partly on the Mason-Dixon trail and partly on a loop trail that takes us onto the ridge.
