This hike is in the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area. Using a series of loops, we will hike about 6.5 miles with 300 feet of elevation gain. Portions of this hike will be alongside the river, one section is along an overgrown trail, expect this section to be a bit of a bushwhack with uneven footing. There are no water crossings.
