From our picnic pavilion we head northwest on the School’s Out Trail and loop around on the Festivus Trail, then down to the Patapsco across a stream under Rt. 40 up a steep hill to the Rockhaven trail, then New Rocks Trail, and back down to the river and return. There will be a 20 minute lunch break. Pace about 2.5 mph. One steep climb, rocky trail and stream crossing make it a bit challenging, but interesting. Great river views.
