This hike will take in many trails in the Avalon and Hilton Area of PVSP including Santee Branch, Grist Mill, Bloede Dam, Garrett’s Pass, Ridge, Valley View, Morning Choice and Forest Glen, along with Cascade Falls. There are a couple stream crossings and a total elevation gain of approx. 1300 feet. The hiking pace will be 2.5 to 3.0 mph. Plan for lunch along the trail.
