The trail travels down toward the Patapsco, and turns east through the rolling hills on the south of the river, then down to Daniels Dam for a 20 minute lunch and then back along the river, up into the hill again on the return to Carrie Way. Pace 2.5 mph. A number of stream crossings, some hilly terrain. LEAVE 9 a.m. trailhead just past 9396 Carrie Way.
