We will meet at Rockburn Park and take in many of the trails in the Rockburn and Avalon Area of PVSP including Rockburn, Morning Choice, Belmont, Ridge, and Cascade Falls. We will also do the Captain John Smith loop trail. There are a few stream crossings and a total elevation gain of approx. 1200 feet. The hiking pace will be 2.5 to 3.0 mph. We will stop for lunch adjacent to the swinging bridge.
