These two hikes off the Skyline Drive are among the most beautiful in the northern section of Shenandoah National Park. It is only 0.5 miles from the trailhead to the north summit of Mt. Marshall over a steep and rocky pathway, but a wholly satisfactory hike. North Marshall offers expansive views of distant ridges and nearby mountains and valleys.
