Leaving the Liberty Hill parking lot, we head south on the Appalachian Trail for 1.5 miles, then drop down for 2 more miles into Sky Meadows Park to the visitor center and indoor bathrooms. We continue on a variety of well-marked trails across to the Lost Mountain area. Lunch is on a hillside with pastoral views of farmland and rolling hills.
