This is a linear backpack using the AT and several side trails on the west side of the main ridge, with estimated daily mileages of 7, 8 and 9 miles, so there will be a car shuttle. Possible dispersed camping on both nights depending on campsite availability. Several stream crossings. Note that this backpack is specifically not on Memorial Day weekend to improve the odds for campsite availability. The registration period for this hike is May 8th to May 30th.…
