    In the morning, we’ll have a steep hike to the top of Neighbor Mountain. We’ll then follow the AT to Elkwallow for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll return along Jeremy’s Run, crossing the stream 14 times, with many opportunities to get wet. Elevation gain is approximately 2,800 feet.

    Length: 13 miles; Elevation gain: approximately 2500 ft. Hike from the Holtwood Recreation Area to House Rock on this beautiful and challenging section of the Conestoga Trail. Highlights are Pinnacle Overlook, Kelly’s Run, Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve and many rocky outcroppings with excellent views of the Susquehanna River.

    Length: 14 miles; Elevation gain: approx. 3,000 ft. Hike to the summit of Robertson Mountain with excellent views of Old Rag and Corbin Hollow. We’ll then hike on the Old Rag Fire Rd. and Big Meadows Horse Trail to the AT and Stony Man Mountain; returning on the Nicholson Hollow Trail. Several stream crossings.

    Length: 16 miles; Elevation gain: 3,700 ft. Hike on the Buzzard Rock Trail to Elizabeth Furnace, returning on the Sherman Gap Trail to the Massanutten East Trail. Nice views from the Massanutten East Trail and Buzzard Rocks. Sections of the trail are very rocky.
