  • ROCKBURN LOOP – 5E

    The trail begins in the parking Lot of Rockburn Branch Park West (6145 Montgomery Road). We will access the Rockburn Elementary Connector trail and work our way around the park perimeter. There are no stream crossings. We will walk about 2.5 mph (24 min mile). There will not be a lunch break for this hike.

  • BIG GUNPOWDER – MASEMORE EAST & WEST – 5E/M

    Hike downstream along both sides of the Big Gunpowder, from Masemore Rd to York Road and back upstream. Hike is a mix of flat areas along the river, with steep hills in two sections.

    This loop hike will start at Hamburg Road parking area and hike various trails in the area. The estimated total ascent is 1100 feet and there will be several routine stream crossings.
