This hike will start from the PenMar Park parking lot and hike south on the A.T. to Raven Rock Shelter and return, with a stop at the High Rock overlock. We will have lunch at the shelter. Please indicate whether you plan to carpool or meet at the trailhead.

Join us on an 11-mile circuit hike on seldom used trail in Baltimore and Howard Counties from Oella, down river to Ilchester and back through Ellicott City. The hike has numerous stream crossings and steep but relatively short climbs with a total elevation gain of 1300 ft. Our pace while hiking will average 2.0-2.5 mph.
