This hike starts on the eastern side of Piney Run Lake in Carroll County. We will hike around the lake into the developed part of Piney Run Park and hike some of the trails there. Our moving pace will be about 2.25-2.5 mph. There are lots of beautiful lake views with very minor stream crossings and about 600 ft of elevation gain.
