This out-and-back hike is part of a series of hikes along the Seneca Creek trail system. This hike starts at Damascus Recreational Park and hikes south on the Lower MacGruder Branch trail and then on the Seneca Greenway Trail. We will hike south for about 6.5 miles, then stop for lunch and turn around. The trails are relatively flat with gentle hills, so we will hike at a fast pace of 2.7 – 2.8 miles per hour.
