Hike 11.0 miles out and back on the Appalachian Trail from the south end of the US-340 Shenandoah River Bridge at Harpers Ferry to WV-9. Some rocky sections, about 1800 feet of climbing no stream crossings. Our pace while hiking will average 2.5 – 3.0 mph. When registering please indicate "Carpool" or "Trailhead"
