Pace will be about 2.5 mph for this circuit hike at Liberty Reservoir in Carroll County. There is about 800 ft of elevation change with lots of beautiful water views.
We will hike along the Patapsco River South Branch on the Carroll County side at a pace of about 2-2.5 mph. Parts of the trail are rocky, narrow, steep, and could be muddy or icy. There are a couple of minor stream crossings. Hiking poles are recommended.
