I understand the risks involved in hikes, trail work, outdoor activities, and any activity run by the Mountain Club of Maryland, including risks of injury and death to me, my children, and my property, and risks in travelling to or from the activities. By participating in any activity of the Mountain Club of Maryland, I am agreeing to assume those risks and to not hold the Mountain Club of Maryland and its directors, officers, members, employees, agents, or leaders responsible for any injuries, damages, or claims.
I understand that, in spite of MCM’s efforts to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19, that there is a risk of exposure to the coronavirus while participating in an MCM activity. I knowingly accept this risk and release MCM from any responsibility or liability for me getting this virus. I waive any claims I may ever have against MCM, its volunteers, or other hike participants for getting COVID-19 on this hike.
