Tis the Season for Orange: Be Ready for Deer Hunting Season
Now that autumn is here, hikers should be aware that deer hunting season (archery) in Maryland has begun, and rifle season will begin in a few weeks. Here are the dates:
Archery: 10/23-11/25/22, 12/12-12/16/22, 1/1-1/5/23, 1/9-1/31/23
Rifle: 11/26-12/10/22, 1/6-1/8/23
Muzzleloader: 12/17-12/31/22
