New Location for ATC Regional Office

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy has moved its mid-Atlantic regional office (MARO) into the second floor of the Craighead House at 318 E. Old York Road in South Middleton Township. In September, MARO staff moved to the historic Craighead House on route PA-174 in Carlisle, PA, just 2.5 miles from the A.T in Boiling Springs. ATC staff now are located on the 2nd floor of this newly renovated historic home on the banks of the Yellow Breeches Creek.

ATC’s regional office staff works closely with the Mountain Club of Maryland’s (MCM) leadership team on a myriad of matters related to our Appalachian Trail responsibilities, including Trail building and maintenance, corridor monitoring, shelters, and overall policy issues. MARO has been seeking a long-term office location for several years, since it moved out of its old site in downtown Boiling Springs. MCM congratulates the regional office for its new location!
