This is about a 3.5-mile circuit hike over and around Stony Man Mountain using the AT and various other trails. There is roughly 800' of elevation gain. The hike is for those who want to do a short hike on Wednesday morning.
Leave from trailhead across from Woodstock Inn and hike to Marriottsville Road. Cross the bridge, hike past McKeldin Falls, hike along the river, cross South Patapsco River, which is only stream crossing, return to Inn. Pace will be 2.5 mph, with lunch along the River.
