Opportunity to Comment on Patapsco Regional Greenway Trail Section Plans

The Patapsco Regional Greenway, when completed, will be a continuous 40-mile trail from the Baltimore Inner Harbor to historic downtown Sykesville. Part of the planned route that is now under consideration will connect the Guinness Open Gate Brewery (Guinness) and the Southwest Area Park, traversing Patapsco Valley State Park, in Baltimore County. The 5-6 mile trail section will connect to two MTA Light Rail Stations, Baltimore Highlands and Patapsco, and to Southwest Area Park. This segment ties into the PRG Guinness to Southwest Area Park segment. There are multiple alternatives being considered for this route, and the planners are currently inviting comments about these options. If you have hiked in this area or are otherwise familiar with it, you may wish to provide feedback to the planners. The options are described at this web site: https://arcg.is/1LCPi41. Once you scroll down the page, you can arrow to the right to view the alternative routes. At the far right, there is a tab to enter comments. The closing date to submit comments is the end of March. THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON A FUTURE TRAIL THAT MAY BE OF INTEREST TO MCM MEMBERS.
