Registration for the 2024 Hike Across Maryland (HAM) is now open to registration by anyone (until now, there has been a time in which only MCM members could sign up). The HAM, which is conducted every two years, is a 41-mile hike on the Appalachian Trail across the entire state of Maryland in a single day. This year the HAM will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
